Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | No on-call requirements | Weekend availability required (3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule) | Holiday availability required | No block scheduling or special schedule requests will be accommodated
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a Neuro/Surgical Telemetry floor
Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate, progressive, or stepdown-level care
Float to other MS/Tele units or low-acuity ICU as needed
Document clinical assessments and interventions accurately using Epic EMR
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient safety and positive outcomes
Required Qualifications
Active Tennessee or compact RN license required at time of submission
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required and must be in hand at time of submission
Minimum 1 year of MS/Tele experience required
Epic EMR experience within the past 18 months is required and must be clearly documented on the candidate profile, including where Epic was utilized; candidates must pass the Epic competency exam (one attempt only)
Two supervisory references required at time of submission
All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submission; additional requests will not be considered after submission
Local candidates are welcome and accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience preferred
Comfort with floating across MS/Tele units and low-acuity ICU settings
Experience in Neuro or Surgical Telemetry environments
