Provide direct patient care on a Neuro/Surgical Telemetry floor
Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate, step-down level care
Utilize Epic electronic health records system for documentation and patient management
Float to other Medical/Surgical Telemetry units or low-acuity ICU as needed
Fulfill weekend shift requirements (3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule)
Required Qualifications
Active Tennessee or compact RN license
AHA BLS certification (must be in hand at time of submission)
AHA ACLS certification (must be in hand at time of submission)
NIHSS certification (must be in hand at time of submission)
Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience
Epic experience within the past 12 months, clearly documented on candidate profile; candidates must pass the Epic competency exam (one attempt allowed)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience
Familiarity with neuro or surgical telemetry patient populations
