Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Intermediate Care / Stepdown unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Monitor and manage post-Cath Lab patients as part of routine unit responsibilities
- Float to Med Surg as needed to support staffing demands
- Float to ICU for PCU-level patient status coverage as needed
- Participate in bi-weekly orientation schedule upon onboarding
- Fulfill every-other-weekend shift requirements as needed
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- PCU and/or Telemetry nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience caring for post-Cath Lab patients
- Prior experience in an Intermediate Care or Stepdown unit setting
- Comfort with floating to Med Surg or ICU environments
