Key Responsibilities- Coordinate total nursing care for an adult and geriatric patient population in a stepdown/IMC/PCU setting
- Administer and monitor cardiac drip therapy in accordance with facility protocols
- Provide dementia management and patient-centered care for cognitively impaired patients
- Participate in patient and family education throughout the care continuum
- Collaborate cooperatively with ancillary nursing staff and interdisciplinary patient care team members
- Float to additional unit(s) within the facility as needed based on census and staffing requirements
Required Qualifications- Active New Hampshire RN license or qualifying Compact RN license
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience
- Cardiac drip experience (must be noted on profile)
- Dementia experience and management skills
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- Personal vehicle required — this is a firm requirement due to lack of public transportation in the area
Preferred Experience / Skills- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification or demonstrated experience
- Prior travel nursing experience in a stepdown or progressive care environment
