Registered Nurse – IMC / Intermediate Care (Travel Contract)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week | Projected Start: October 2026
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a 30-bed Intermediate Care / Step-Down unit serving adult and geriatric populations
Manage complex cardiac and respiratory patients including STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, Sepsis, Acute Respiratory Failure, and Atrial Fibrillation with RVR
Maintain patient ratios of 1:3 or 1:4 in accordance with unit standards
Document accurately using the Medhost EHR system
Float to Medical Surgical and Telemetry units as needed, including ED holds pending admission
Fulfill on-call requirements as assigned by unit leadership
Required Qualifications
Current and valid RN state license
Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
Prior travel nursing experience required
Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with cardiac patient populations including post-surgical care (e.g., CABG, ALIF, EXLIF)
Familiarity with Medhost or similar EHR platforms
Experience in a Joint Commission accredited or regional referral center environment
