Travel Nurse RN - Intermediate Care in Lone Tree, CO

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 45-bed 5th Floor Medical / PCU unit with a patient ratio of 4–5 patients per nurse
• Manage cardiac drips and cardiac catheters in accordance with unit protocols
• Perform chest tube management, wound care, and administration of TPN/lipids
• Utilize cardiac monitoring equipment, lifts, and Dynamap devices as part of routine patient care
• Document and manage patient records using the Meditech EMR system
• Collaborate with a team including charge nurses, RNs, and MSTs across day and night shifts

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse; minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PCU experience required
• Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado (or compact license eligibility)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Travel nursing candidates only — this is a travel contract position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cardiac and/or ICU clinical experience
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Team-oriented professional with a positive attitude toward staff and providers
