Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Neuro Telemetry)

Location

Lubbock, TX | Short Term Acute Care – Level II Trauma Center

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Neuro Telemetry/IMC/PCU/Stepdown setting within a short-term acute care facility
• Maintain expected patient ratios of 1:4
• Float between units as needed to support staffing and patient care needs
• Work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule as part of the standard rotation
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Complete required facility modules prior to start and during orientation

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant RN experience required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at the time of submittal — post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard terms; candidates within 50 miles may be considered at an adjusted rate
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (may include Charge RNs or Leads)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Neuro Telemetry, IMC, PCU, or Stepdown setting
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and neurological patient populations
• Experience working in a high-acuity acute care or trauma center environment
