    Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

    Location

    Madison, WI

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every other weekend required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/PCU/Stepdown unit setting
    • Monitor and interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias
    • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
    • Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license required
    • BLS certification required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
    • ACLS certification required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
    • Minimum of two years of inpatient acute care experience in IMC/PCU/Stepdown or Medical/Surgical Telemetry within the last three years
    • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (locals not accepted)
    • Must pass a telemetry/cardiac rhythm interpretation exam prior to start (passing score of 80% or higher; 100% identification of lethal rhythms required on adult exam)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a high-acuity inpatient telemetry or stepdown environment
    • Familiarity with pediatric cardiac rhythm interpretation
