Travel Nurse RN - Intermediate Care in Morgantown, WV

Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC / PCU / Stepdown

Morgantown, WV

Contract (13 weeks, possible extension) | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | Weekdays and some weekends | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown / Immediate Care Unit setting with varying patient acuity, including patients who may be classified as Progressive Care or Telemetry level in larger facilities
• Maintain a standard nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4, with flexibility to 1:5 during emergencies
• Perform IV insertions and monitor telemetry, including reading and interpreting cardiac strips
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

• Active RN license in West Virginia or a Compact state (pending license accepted at time of submission)
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, including at least 1 year in a Medical/Surgical or Telemetry setting and 2 years in a Stepdown unit
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Proficiency in IV insertion and telemetry monitoring, including cardiac strip interpretation
• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility (candidates between 75–100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis)

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with blocked scheduling, particularly weekend blocks (Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Monday)
• PALS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA), if required by the unit
