Registered Nurse – PCU / Burn Unit (Travel)

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 12-bed Burn ICU/PCU setting with ICU ratios of 2:1 and Med/Surg and PCU ratios of 4:1
• Operate and monitor specialty equipment including ventilators, specialty beds, and occasional CRRT
• Document patient care and clinical information using the Meditech documentation system
• Collaborate with Charge RN, fellow RNs, and PCTs to deliver safe, high-quality care
• Fulfill a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule block
• Adhere to floating policy — contract labor floats first

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Tennessee or a compact state
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Med/Surg experience required to meet patient experience standards
• Must comply with dress code: navy scrubs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Burn ICU or PCU/Stepdown unit
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic health records system
• Experience with ventilator management and CRRT
