Schedule / Job TypeContract – 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite | Travel
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Stepdown unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding appropriately to changes in patient status
- Maintain a patient ratio of 5:1, delivering safe and effective nursing care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and implement patient care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the facility EMR
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Mississippi
- Minimum of 2 years of PCU, IMC, or Stepdown nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- PALS certification required (may be obtained within the first 3 weeks of assignment start)
- Permanent address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or Stepdown setting
- Familiarity with hospital EMR systems used in acute care environments
