Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/PCU/Stepdown unit with a 24-bed capacity
- Monitor and interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythms for assigned patients
- Perform neurological assessments utilizing NIHSS standards as required
- Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic electronic health records
- Float within scope of practice to other units or sister facilities within 75 miles as needed to meet staffing demands
Required Qualifications- Active, unrestricted RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience, including at least 1 year in Critical Care or Telemetry
- Minimum 1 year of prior travel nursing experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Completed EKG Course/Telemetry competency test required
- Current NIHSS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience charting in Epic electronic health records system
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-acuity patient populations in a stepdown or PCU environment
