    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified IMC RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68122!

    Job Title

    Registered Nurse (RN) – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

    Location

    Omaha, NE

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift | Onsite | Shifts: 6:30 AM–7:00 PM / 6:30 PM–7:00 AM | Every other weekend required | Every third holiday required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a fast-paced Progressive Care Unit serving adult and geriatric populations with diagnoses including cardiac conditions, nephrology, stroke, diabetes, and continuous EEG monitoring
    • Titrate drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications per physician orders and unit protocols
    • Maintain patient assignments at a 1:4–5 nurse-to-patient ratio in collaboration with charge nurse and patient care techs
    • Float as needed to medical floors, ICU, or rehabilitation units
    • Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
    • Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a high-acuity stepdown environment
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Current BLS certification
    • Current ACLS certification
    • Current NIHSS certification
    • Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
    • Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care areas; compliance is required as a condition of contract
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in a PCU, stepdown, or intermediate care setting
    • Experience titrating cardiac and neurological drips
    • Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment
