PCU / Surgical Stepdown - Registered Nurse (Travel)

Orlando, FL | PCU Observation Unit

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-Week Assignment | Night Shift | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a PCU Observation Unit setting during night shift hours
• Monitor and assess patients requiring progressive care and stepdown-level interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• May be asked to float to PCU or MSMT units as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida RN License required
• BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification required
• Ability to work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
• No call requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Background in PCU, IMC, or Stepdown care settings
• Familiarity with observation unit workflows and patient populations
