Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate care has been delegated
• Ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care is delivered consistently
• Support competency evaluation and development of clinical staff
• Manage resources appropriately as they relate to patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
• Experience in an IMCU, PCU, or Step-Down unit setting
• Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:4
• Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a monitored unit environment
• Familiarity with telemetry and cardiac monitoring
