Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned patients on a per-shift basis
- Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care has been delegated
- Ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care is delivered consistently
- Support competency evaluation and development of clinical staff
- Manage resources appropriately as they relate to patient care needs
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California or compact eligibility
- Experience in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), or Stepdown setting
- Demonstrated ability to assess and manage intermediate-acuity patients
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working with monitored patients in a stepdown or telemetry environment
- Prior charge nurse or supervisory experience in a clinical setting
