Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Nights

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Step-Down) setting within an acute care, academic teaching hospital environment
• Adhere to weekend and holiday rotation requirements per facility guidelines
• Complete all required facility learning modules prior to the start of the assignment
• Maintain compliance with all background check standards and facility credentialing requirements
• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to a medical PCU patient population

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license, verified within the last 30 days — no disciplinary actions on record
• Minimum of 24 months PCU experience, with experience within the last 12 months (required)
• Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (required)
• Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (required)
• PCU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
• Valid driver's license required to verify residency — candidates who are residents of Arizona are not eligible for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Flexibility with facilities, shifts, and departments is strongly advantageous in securing placement
• Experience in a large, academic or teaching hospital environment
