Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care is delegated
• Support nursing leadership to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
• Monitor and maintain competency of clinical staff
• Manage appropriate resources related to patient care at the unit level

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Experience in an IMCU, PCU, or Stepdown clinical setting
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a multi-unit environment including CVICU, SICU, or MICU settings
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in an intermediate or step-down care environment
