Key Responsibilities

• Provide intermediate and progressive care nursing to patients in an IMC/PCU/Stepdown setting
• Monitor and manage patients with cardiac conditions and those recovering from cardiovascular surgery
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Cardiac and post cardiovascular surgical nursing experience required
• CPR certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ANCC Cardiac Certification preferred
• Prior experience in an IMC, PCU, or Stepdown unit
