Travel Nurse RN - Intermediate Care in Roseburg, OR

Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (1845–0715) | Every Other Weekend | 1 Major and 1 Minor Holiday Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 20-bed PCU with a ratio of 1:3 (up to 1:4 during medical overflow), managing cardiac, respiratory, renal failure, and ETOH withdrawal patients
• Titrate drips including Cardizem, heparin, and amiodarone as needed
• Monitor and interpret telemetry strips alongside monitor technicians
• Manage respiratory therapy equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow nasal cannula
• Float as needed, primarily to ICU or Med/Surg units
• Serve in charge nurse or house supervisor capacity as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (Oregon license not required at time of submittal; facility may support 90-Day Emergency License)
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
• Minimum acute care experience with cardiac and respiratory background

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience titrating cardiac drips in a progressive care or step-down setting
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
• Prior experience floating to ICU or Med/Surg environments
