Key Responsibilities- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Deliver direct patient care to progressive care/stepdown unit patients during night shift hours
- Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system to document and manage patient information
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses, including to the Emergency Department
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years of previous stepdown or PCU experience
- Active Iowa RN license (or compact license eligibility)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system
- Comfort with floating to the Emergency Department as needed
