Job Title

Travel RN – Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) / Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected 36–48 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care / Progressive Care Unit setting within a 266-bed acute-care hospital
• Monitor and assess patients requiring a higher level of observation than a standard medical-surgical floor
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Document patient assessments, care delivered, and clinical outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
• Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate care appropriately

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Florida (or compact license eligibility)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Experience in an IMCU, PCU, Stepdown, or comparable acute care setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry in a stepdown or progressive care environment
• Experience working within large, accredited acute-care hospital systems
