RN II - Step-Down Unit (CNA)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 36–48 Hours per Week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Step-Down / Intermediate Care Unit setting
- Monitor and assess patients requiring a higher level of observation than general medical-surgical floors
- Document patient care activities and clinical findings accurately within the EMR system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
- Support EMR transition activities as part of an Epic conversion initiative
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Current Epic EMR experience is required
- Cerner EMR experience within the last 5 years
- Work history must clearly document the charting system used for each position; if multiple EMR systems were used within a single role, date ranges for each system must be provided
- Must have successfully completed at least one prior contract or held a staff employment position
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in an IMC, PCU, or Step-Down unit setting
- Familiarity with Epic in a backfill or conversion support capacity
