Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – Nights

Tucson, AZ

Contract | Full-Time | Night Shift | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care within a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting as part of a resource float pool serving multiple campuses
• Float across Adult Health units including Observation, Medical-Surgical, and PCU units as needed
• Occasionally support the Emergency Department or PACU by caring for Adult Health patients with inpatient orders awaiting unit placement
• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population ranging from observation-level to step-down acuity
• Complete required learning modules prior to and during the assignment to maintain compliance and readiness

• Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience, with experience within the last 12 months
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona (verified within the last 30 days; no disciplinary actions on license)
• Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Valid driver's license required to verify non-local residency (Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment)
• PCU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months

• Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Flexibility with shifts, departments, and unit assignments is strongly advantageous
• Experience in large, high-acuity or trauma-designated facilities
