Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care within a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting as part of a resource float pool serving multiple campuses
- Float across Adult Health units including Observation, Medical-Surgical, and PCU units as needed
- Occasionally support the Emergency Department or PACU by caring for Adult Health patients with inpatient orders awaiting unit placement
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population ranging from observation-level to step-down acuity
- Complete required learning modules prior to and during the assignment to maintain compliance and readiness
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience, with experience within the last 12 months
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona (verified within the last 30 days; no disciplinary actions on license)
- Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Valid driver's license required to verify non-local residency (Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment)
- PCU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
Preferred Experience / Skills- Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Flexibility with shifts, departments, and unit assignments is strongly advantageous
- Experience in large, high-acuity or trauma-designated facilities
