Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting within a large, high-acuity academic medical center
Float across multiple Adult Health units including Observation, Med/Surg, PCU, and IMC as needed across two campuses
Occasionally support the Emergency Department or PACU by caring for Adult Health patients with inpatient orders awaiting bed placement
Deliver safe, competent nursing care to a diverse patient population ranging from observation-level to intermediate care acuity
Complete required learning modules and maintain compliance with all facility onboarding and credentialing standards prior to and during assignment
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience, with experience within the last 12 months
Level I Trauma and large hospital experience required
Active Arizona RN license with no disciplinary actions, verified within the last 30 days
Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
Valid driver's license required to verify non-Arizona residency (Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
Experience working across multiple units or in a float pool environment
Familiarity with IMC/Stepdown patient populations in addition to PCU
