Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12-Hour Shifts) | Onsite | Every other weekend required (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) | 1 holiday required | No on-call required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care / Progressive Care / Stepdown unit setting
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding appropriately to changes in patient status
- Document all patient care activities accurately using the EPIC charting system
- Float to like units as required within scope of practice
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active New Jersey RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year of PCU, DOU, IMC, or Stepdown nursing experience required
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
- Ability to complete a required Pass/Fail clinical examination (candidates have up to 3 attempts)
- PA Fingerprinting required; must be completed within 1 week of contract signing
- Valid references and copies of all certifications required at time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a travel nursing capacity with demonstrated adaptability to new environments
- Familiarity with compliance-intensive healthcare settings and onboarding processes
