Provide direct patient care in a 36-bed Medical Surgical Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry monitoring
Manage a patient population that includes stable and weaning ventilator/trach patients, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
Maintain a 4:1 patient ratio, including management of insulin drips and primary patient assignments
Float to higher-acuity inpatient units as needed across the facility
Adhere to weekend and holiday rotation requirements (every other weekend and every other holiday)
Required Qualifications
Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA or ARC
Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with Stepdown, Intermediate Care, or PCU experience required
Ventilator and trach experience required
At least one prior travel nursing assignment required
Preferred Experience / Skills
ICU experience preferred
Trauma Level II experience preferred
Experience with EPIC electronic health records preferred
