Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule (84 hours biweekly, 72-hour guarantee) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Stepdown unit setting
- Float to support overflow areas and the Emergency Department for patient holds as needed
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate nursing interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, high-quality patient care
- Accurately document all patient care activities and clinical findings in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in-hand prior to start
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a PCU, IMC, or Stepdown setting
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Current NIHSS certification required
- Active Nursys verification required
- Must be agreeable to an alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system preferred
