Registered Nurse – PCU / Stepdown

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Intermediate Care / Stepdown unit setting
- Monitor and assess patients requiring a higher level of care than a general medical-surgical floor
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan
- Current BLS certification (AHA or equivalent)
- Prior experience in a PCU, IMC, or Stepdown unit
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Preferred Experience / Skills- ACLS certification
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
