Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology (IR) nurse in Kansas City, Missouri. This position involves providing specialized care for patients undergoing minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures guided by imaging modalities. The role requires a professional with experience in post-procedural care, ability to interpret imaging-related patient information, and skill in managing complex patient needs in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); current licensure to practice in Missouri; experience with interventional radiology procedures, including post-procedural care such as ablations, catheterizations, and pacemaker insertions; ability to read and interpret imaging and telemetry strips; minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a related setting; and flexibility to work full-time including scheduled weekends.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with IV insertions, Foley catheter placements, Chest Tube management, and administration and titration of IV medications like insulin, Cardizem, Cardene, and Amiodarone.
• Additional Information: Staff will be responsible for performing invasive procedures such as IV insertions, NGT placement and maintenance, Chest Tube management, and Temporary Pacemakers. The role requires adherence to unit-specific policies and guidelines, and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care aligned with organizational values.
