Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Shift Type: Variable 4x10s (days) — examples include 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM; rotating 4x10 schedule with 7-day call coverage rotation. Call required ~1-2 days per month.
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in an interventional radiology/procedural setting
- Manage moderate sedation and monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
- Perform critical-care interventions when needed for ICU/ER-level patients
- Collaborate with the procedure team, anesthesiology, and radiology staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Respond to and triage urgent inpatient and outpatient admissions as cases require
- Document thoroughly in EPIC to ensure continuity of care and accurate records
- Participate in call rotation and respond as the on-call RN when scheduled
Education
- Active RN licensure required; BSN not required (BSN listed as not required in job details)
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system
- Skilled in moderate sedation management and patient monitoring
- Experience with CT imaging workflows and interventional medicine procedures
- PICC line knowledge and procedural assistance
- Comfortable working in a cath lab–style environment with outpatient and urgent inpatient cases
- Strong critical care assessment and prioritization skills
