Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
• Prior travel RN experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Compact RN license must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Epic experience required
• Strong background in vascular access, IV therapy, and line management preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound-guided peripheral IV placement
• Support vascular access consults and line troubleshooting
• Manage central line blood draws, dressing changes, and patency assessments
• Assist with device stabilization, site evaluation, and patient education
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe and timely access care
• Document accurately in Epic and follow established clinical protocols
• Provide quality nursing care across neonate, adult, and geriatric patient populations as needed
• Work independently on night shift while maintaining a high standard of patient care
