Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Pending license accepted Certifications: BCLS required, ACLS, MAB, and NIH preferred Must-Have: Telemetry experience is required, Charge Nurse experience preferred Description: Travelers will be required to float between various like units within their skill set. Open to accommodating block scheduling at this time. Local travelers with permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility will not be eligible for a travel contract. RTO restrictions are preferred to be kept under 7 days. Previous charge nurse experience of 1 year is required. Patient ratio experience is necessary. Charting system experience is required, specifically with the outlined system. Experience in community and LTAC hospital settings is a plus. Experience in trauma level hospitals is not required but preferred. Travel experience is required. Strong skills in interpretation/management of dysrhythmias and monitoring procedural sedation are necessary. Experience working in an ICU is required. Individuals should be prepared for possible weekend shifts approximately every 3-4 weekends. Adult and geriatric patient age groups will be managed. Daily census is expected to be 15-20 patients. Interdisciplinary support includes various healthcare services. Special procedures in the unit include various patient diagnostics and treatments. RNs can expect to have one night of on-call duty every other week, along with one weekend on-call shift every 4-6 weeks. If night shift staff call out, on-call RNs will need to be available for coverage. Additional details related to compliance and references may be necessary prior to the start of employment.
