Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Nurse in York, PA. This position involves delivering comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced imaging unit within a Level 1 Trauma Hospital. The nurse will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to perform preprocedural assessments, monitor patients during procedures, and provide postprocedural care across various suites including CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, and Interventional Radiology. The role requires clinical judgment, patient safety focus, and the ability to respond to emergencies promptly.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Shifts will be between Monday through Friday, Dayshift, 4 days per week, 9 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- Certifications: ACLS & BLS (PALS preferred)
- Required Experience: 0 years minimum; previous experience in Interventional Radiology preferred, with knowledge of modalities such as End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Central Line Management, and Sedation Administration
- Education: Relevant nursing credentials and license to practice in Pennsylvania; EPIC electronic health record experience required
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Trauma Level I experience
- Experience with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Knowledge of clinical protocols related to emergency medications and advanced radiology procedures
- Additional Information:
- Candidate may care for COVID-19 patients.
- Must have a valid PA nursing license in hand.
