Interventional Radiology RN Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Interventional Radiology RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
• Strong vascular access skills preferred
• Experience with PICC lines or midlines preferred
• Meditech experience is a plus
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced procedural environment with on-call responsibilities
• Positive attitude, critical thinking skills, and a team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
• Assist with procedures such as para/thora, LVO, FNA, midline/PICC placement, kyphoplasty, and PE thrombectomy
• Support vascular access, conscious sedation, and critical care needs
• Monitor patients closely before, during, and after procedures to ensure safety and comfort
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and imaging staff to promote efficient workflow
• Respond to call coverage and maintain readiness for weeknight and weekend needs
• Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care in a team-driven environment
