Job Summary Interventional Radiology (IR) Nurse in Northern Region. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a radiology setting, primarily supporting patients undergoing interventional procedures. The position requires delivering IV sedation and ensuring patient safety during radiology interventions.
Job Details
Position Description: No local candidates within 50 miles are considered. Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Certification: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Education: RN license; Experience: minimal 2 years of recent experience in radiology, ICU, Emergency Room, or Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in radiology nursing preferred but not required.
Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts.
Additional Information: The role involves servicing patients in radiology, primarily providing IV sedation. RN experience in ICU, ER, or PACU is acceptable if radiology experience is not available. Candidates must work two major holidays of the three listed (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day) and one minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Years Eve).
