Procedural Registered Nurse (RN) - Neuro Interventional Radiology

About This Position

We are seeking a dedicated Procedural Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Neuro Interventional Radiology to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care while working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and support to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient vitals and assist in the management of patient post-procedure care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with facility policies.
• Participate in continuous education and training to enhance professional development.

Shift Information

• 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call requirement every fifth weekend and one night per week; must be within a 30-minute radius during on-call hours.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab settings is required. Neuro experience and critical care experience are highly preferred.
• Certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Radiation Badge: A radiation badge is required and must be supplied by the agency, as it will not be provided by the facility.

Additional Information

• Guaranteed hours may include the possibility of being called off for one shift every two weeks.
• All requests for time off must be submitted during the application process and are subject to approval based on unit needs.
• Parking fees apply only for nights and weekends with a one-time payment for a parking pass.
• Scrubs will be provided by the facility.
