Job Summary: Interventional Radiology (IR) Specialist position in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The role involves providing clinical support within an interventional vascular and radiology laboratory setting. Job Details:
Shift: Rotating, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: 24 months of current interventional vascular and interventional radiology laboratory experience in a hospital or medical center setting are required. Experience in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cardiac Catherization Lab / CCL) is highly preferred. Pre- and post-operative recovery experience is also required. EPIC electronic medical record system experience is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in interventional venous and IR lab, skills specific to the discipline listed on the job, and a professional reference from a supervisor, nurse manager, or director within the past 24 months are preferred.
Schedule: Working shifts of 8 hours, with a minimum commitment of 40 hours per week. Orientation sessions are scheduled on 08/17, 08/24, 08/31, 09/08, 09/14, 09/21, and 09/28, with earlier starts prioritized.
Additional Information: The role involves working at a facility with 9 beds and a nurse-patient ratio of 1:3. The unit requires participation in 1-2 of the upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed. Candidates must have a valid drivers license and BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
