Job Opportunity – Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse – Ohio

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM (normal business hours), 1:1 patient ratio. Two call shifts required during contract. One weekend shift per contract. Float responsibilities include primarily working in procedure rooms in the intra-procedure role (circulating or sedating), with intermittent work in pre/post areas for patient preparation and recovery.
Highlights:
- Join a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team of physicians, technologists, nurses, and advanced practice providers performing interventional procedures in a state-of-the-art 8-procedure room facility
- Circulate for a diverse case mix including vascular access, IVC filter placement/removal, embolizations, TIPS, UFE, fistula grams, PCN, PTC, drains, venous reconstruction, biopsies, and paracentesis/thoracentesis procedures
- Daily census of approximately 30 patients across adults and geriatric populations in a dedicated interventional diagnostics and treatment unit
- No Cath/EP, Neuro, or Hybrid OR cases – focused interventional radiology procedures only
- 9 total rooms available with opportunities to work in both intra-procedure and pre/post recovery settings
- One pre-approved time off period available during contract
Requirements:
- Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Skills required: Circulating procedures, interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, interventional radiology experience, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring
- Preferred skills: Scrub procedures and triage experience
- Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- 2 professional references required (at least 1 from a manager/director or formal leadership role; charge RN acceptable for second reference)
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Candidates must be responsive and cooperative with urgent credentialing requirements, including Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing
