Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Nurse located in York, Pennsylvania. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a catheterization laboratory and interventional radiology procedures. The role includes working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on clinical excellence, patient safety, and procedural support.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts, from 06:30 AM to 05:00 PM, with on-call responsibilities covering off-shift hours, weekends, and holidays, requiring a 30-minute response time.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license, ACLS and BLS certifications, minimum of 2 years of interventional radiology or related clinical experience, and proficient in interventional radiology procedures such as angioplasty, carotid stenting, and vascular access management.
- Preferred Qualifications: EPIC charting system experience, knowledge of radiation and laser safety, and familiarity with sheath removal and vascular closure systems.
- Additional Information: Candidate must be able to care for COVID-19 patients. The facility is tobacco and fragrance-free. RTO requests should be minimized to 7 days. Local candidates will be offered at a lower billing rate. Candidates should have NBSTSA certification if applying as an OR Tech/CST.
- Submittal Details: All pharmacists and pharmacy technicians must hold a valid Pennsylvania license. Candidates for mammography technician roles must meet MQSA standards, including prior experience, CE credits, and active ARRT registration.
- Travel & Certification: Travel pair options are available; matched schedules are not guaranteed. All travelers must complete necessary modules before start, with an estimated duration of 5-6 hours.
