Key Responsibilities of the Travel IR RN:
- Provide nursing care before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures
- Monitor patients receiving moderate sedation and contrast agents
- Assist physicians with image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Manage vascular access, hemostasis, and post-procedure recovery
- Educate patients and families on procedures and post-care instructions
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR
Requirements of the Travel IR RN:
- Active Missouri RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- BLS and ACLS required.
- Minimum 2 years of recent Interventional Radiology experience
- Strong procedural, critical thinking, and patient-monitoring skills
