Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology acute care experience required. License: Active RN License, free of hits required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: Must live 100 miles away, Monday to Friday, 0700-1530 with on-call for 2 weekends and 15 shifts. Neuro stroke experience required. Cerner experience required. Description: Fulfills the needs of the patients, families, and community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner. Applies knowledge of growth and development over the lifespan necessary to provide age-appropriate care. Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret it in terms of the patient's needs. Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients. Makes initial assessments and determines appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidenced by appropriate documentation. Performs initial and ongoing assessments on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidenced by appropriate documentation. Completes admission assessments within the established timeframe, according to policy and procedures. Three or more years of Interventional Radiology experience is required.
