Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner. Applies knowledge of growth and development over the life span necessary to provide age-appropriate care. Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient’s needs. Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatments needed by patients. Makes initial assessment and determines the appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidenced by appropriate documentation. Performs initial and ongoing assessments on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidenced by appropriate documentation. Completes admission assessment within the established timeframe, according to policy and procedures. 3 years plus of IR experience is required.
