Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology (IR) Specialist opportunity located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This role involves providing expert clinical care within a vascular and interventional radiology laboratory setting. The position offers a rotating shift schedule, primarily involving day shifts with a focus on vascular and interventional procedures, and starts on 08/31/2026.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 24 months of current interventional vascular/interventional radiology laboratory experience in a hospital or medical center setting; EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience; valid drivers license; BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association or ARC/Red Cross; Iowa state license; ability to work upcoming summer holidays as required
- Preferred Qualifications: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) experience in a hospital or medical center setting; pre and post-operative/recovery experience; experience with vascular access procedures; knowledge of SOPs for interventional procedures
- Additional Information:
- Work history/resume must reflect 24 months of relevant experience in interventional vascular/IR lab
- Skills checklist must be specific to interventional vascular/IR laboratory discipline
- Submission requires clinical interview pre-screening with a 405 area code contact
- Orientation sessions scheduled for 08/31, 09/08, 09/14, 09/21, and 09/28; earlier start dates will be prioritized
