Job Opportunity – Interventional Radiology Nurse – Pennsylvania

Start Date: November 2, 2026
Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Schedule: Day shift; 1:1 patient ratio; on-call 1 weekday per week and every 7-8 weekends

Highlights:

• High-acuity Interventional Radiology unit performing advanced procedures including LVO-Thrombectomy, Embolization, TIPS, Y-90s, biopsies, and dialysis access
• Level I Trauma center with daily census of 25 procedures across 4 procedure rooms and 8 beds
• Epic charting system with 24-hour orientation provided
• No float requirement; local rate differential applies for candidates within 50-mile radius
• Multidisciplinary support including interpretation services; Navy Blue scrubs provided
• First-time travelers accepted with 2 years of experience

Requirements:

• Active Pennsylvania nursing license required at time of application
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC
• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology or special procedures experience
• Level I Trauma center experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in complex procedures including thrombectomy, embolization, UFE, paracentesis, thoracentesis, tube placements, biopsies, TIPS, Y-90s, IVC filters, and dialysis access management
• Charge experience preferred; 1:1 patient ratio experience required
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Pennsylvania fingerprinting and childline clearance required (must be completed within specific timeframes)
