Job Title: Cath Lab RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a lab License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCES or CCI RCIS, NIHSS Must-Have: Sedation skills required Experience in a lab setting, specifically in a 250-bed facility Epic charting experience for Interventional Radiology RNs Epic charting experience highly preferred for Cath Lab RNs Description: The Cath Lab RN will provide patient care in the Cath Lab setting. Shifts will be scheduled any day Monday through Friday with weekend call requirements. Call requirements include being on-call for 7 days per month, including 1 weekend per month from Friday to Sunday evening and 1 day per week. Candidates must have sedation skills. Candidates with at least 2 room lab experience in a 250-bed facility are encouraged to apply. We are open to both Interventional Radiology RNs and Cath Lab RNs, but it is important to specify if the applicant has experience as one or the other. For Interventional Radiology RNs, Epic experience is mandatory. For Cath Lab RNs, Epic experience is highly preferred but can be limited. Position involves care for adult and geriatric patients. Daily census varies and may involve interdisciplinary support from various services. Special procedures and unit details include a focus on sedation and interventional radiology techniques. Travelers may be expected to float between facilities if necessary.
