Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology (IR) Nurse or Radiologic Technologist position in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role involves providing specialized care in a Level III Trauma Center with a Level III NICU, supporting a busy IR department that handles both general and neuro interventions. The assignment offers a collaborative environment with a focus on patient-centered care within a high-acuity facility.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Wisconsin license or ability to obtain, BLS and ACLS certifications, zero to one year of experience in Interventional Radiology.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system, Siemens and GE equipment, and MedRad injectors is preferred.
  • Support on the Unit: Includes receptionists, lead technicians, tech specialists, respiratory therapy, hospitalists, CNA/transporter staff available 24/7.
  • Technology/Equipment: Experience with IV pumps (Alaris), Pyxis medication dispensing, Change Healthcare PACS, and familiarity with Siemens and GE imaging equipment. Knowledge of MedRad injectors is desirable.
  • Orientation: Will include 1-2 weeks with a preceptor, with a check-off process.
  • Scheduling: Normal hours from 0700-1530 for general IR; neuro IR from 0730-1600. On-call rotation includes weekday and weekend shifts, with response time of 30 minutes. Travelers will only take neuro call if they have neuro IR experience; otherwise, general IR call.
  • Other notes: Scrub color provided, free parking available with badge access.
