Key Responsibilities of the Interventional Radiology Nurse- Perform interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, carotid stenting, and angiography
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
- Assess and prevent pressure ulcers
- Sheath removal and monitoring
- Utilize vascular closure systems
- Ensure radiation and laser safety
- Apply Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale
Requirements of the Interventional Radiology Nurse- Minimum 2 years of experience in Cath Lab & IR
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- EPIC charting system experience required
