Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in Hermiston, Oregon.

  • Active Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Current BLS Certification (Required)
  • Current ACLS Certification (Required)
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Minimum 1 year of Critical Care, Emergency Department, Cath Lab, or Interventional Radiology experience (Required)
  • 3+ years of Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab experience (Preferred)
  • Experience with moderate conscious sedation (Preferred)
  • Hemodynamic monitoring experience (Preferred)
  • IV Certification (Preferred)
  • Specialty certifications such as RCIS and NIH Stroke Scale are preferred
  • BSN preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

     

Provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures. Administer medications including anticoagulants, vasoactive medications, contrast agents, and emergency medications. Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures. Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures. Recognize and respond rapidly to complications including arrhythmias, bleeding, allergic reactions, stroke symptoms, and cardiac emergencies. Advocate for patient safety and coordinate care with physicians and the multidisciplinary team.
