Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN) with a minimum of 2 years of IR experience to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position requires weekend shifts to cover stress testing, with no on-call responsibilities.

General Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
• Administer medications and monitor patients through their procedures.
• Conduct PASS/FAIL ECG/Telemetry tests and medications tests during onboarding.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology.
• Ability to pass a Telemetry Competency Exam.
• Knowledge of critical paths and demonstrated professional development activities.
• Charge Nurse experience is preferred.
• Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of the facility.

Testing Requirements:

All candidates must successfully complete a Dysrhythmia and Medication test with an 85% passing score. There will be only one attempt to pass these tests, scheduled via Zoom Protector meeting within 48 hours of confirmation. A study guide will be provided to assist in preparation.

Orientation and Interview Process:

Orientation is conducted biweekly, and candidates will be interviewed and offered the position by the Nursing Manager. Please ensure to present any request for time off at the time of submission.

Contractual Information:

This role guarantees 72 hours biweekly on all assignments, exclusive of any additional time worked.
